Getting Started with Online Entrepreneurship

Hello and welcome to Shakimo's Online Entrepreneurship blog. If you want to build your own online success story, you are in the right place.

My aim with this blog is to to guide you how to succeed in the world of online business; whether be it through blogging, eCommerce, freelancing, affiliate marketing etc.

I do that by offering ideas and tips on how to start and run internet based business and earn online income from the comfort of your home.

So lets get started!

How to Get Started

To get started you will need to decide which online business you would like to pursue. 

Secondly, if you have aspirations to build an online business, you will need a website and/or a blog. You can build a website and/or a blog yourself or you can hire a web developer to help you build it.

My recommendation when it comes to creating and publishing content online is either a self-hosted WordPress site or you can build a DIY website yourself here. In case you don’t know, WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS) which makes creating your own website and publishing online content very simple.

You’ll also need a domain name and hosting. My recommendation for both is Domista who offer very good and affordable service. 

There are so many ways to make money online and on this blog I will be focusing on the ones that I use.Whilst you can attempt to make your own way, I would advise that you learn from my successes and mistakes by consulting the articles and resources on the blog.
